Car description from seller:
PRICE REDUCED - 1947 was the last year for the classic pontoon body Cadillacs, and it marked the introduction the now famous Sombrero hubcaps as well as an updated version of the 346cid L-head V8 with hydraulic lifters and hardened ball seats for improved reliability. Exterior trim was updated mildly and, inside, the top-line 62 Convertibles and Series 75s got standard Hydro-Lectric power windows. At a heady $2,902, only 6,755 62 Convertibles were sold in 1947. This car has the optional Hydra-Matic transmission and dual safety spot lights and is finished in stunning Madeira Maroon Iridescent over red leather interior and with tan soft top. It received a high-quality restoration in the 90s and it has been pampered since. It shows superbly throughout with a Best of Show at the San Juan Island Concours. This car drives excellent and all of the hydraulic systems work perfectly - even the original tube AM radio works flawlessly. This is a great opportunity to own an excellent example of a Full Classic Cadillac.
